Board-certified Nurse Practitioner, Leslie Fletcher, NP-BC is a highly respected aesthetic nurse injector who has worked since 2001 with world-renowned, celebrity dermatologists and plastic surgeons. In November 2019 she was named the Best Aesthetic Nurse in the US and her clinic was voted best med spa in the world by her peers in the largest global aesthetic awards, My Face, My Body. The successful medical clinic she founded in 2010 located in Los Angeles, CA has been ranked in the top 0.05% of the nation for use of neuromodulators and dermal fillers and in 2019 was named one of Inc. 5000 fastest growing of all companies in the US.
She is sought out as an international speaker at aesthetic conferences, and faculty injection trainer for some of the most prestigious aesthetic training companies and pharmaceutical companies in the world. To date, Leslie has trained over 6,000 physicians and mid-level practitioners and is recognized as a global key opinion leader in the field of aesthetic medicine. She has authored over 20 medical aesthetic articles published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Aesthetic Nursing (JAN) where she serves on the editorial board. Leslie has been authored and been awarded two educational grants, and one publication grant from Allergan Aesthetics to produce educational content for her trainees worldwide.
Leslie Fletcher has also developed innovative uses for Botox® as well as her trademarked technique developed in 2014 named MicroTox® that instantly tightens the skin, and developed in 2005, NasalTox® to slim and reshape the nose. Leslie lectures and teaches all of these off-label techniques all over the world through her international training company The InjectAbility® Institute. Leslie holds the only patent for a dermal filler technique using dermal fillers such as Juvederm® Voluma™, Restylane®, and the RHA® line of fillers.
She recognized that hyaluronic acid gels revolutionized how the signs of aging were addressed, but she also believed that a modern, powerful methodology would maximize their potential. She was determined to discover that methodology.
Although well trained in medical science, including bone, muscle, fat, and collagen structure composing the facial armature, Leslie looked to principles of architectural engineering for the rationale to back her theories. With extensive experience as an accomplished seamstress and designer, she regularly used her experiences with clothing construction (engineering) to exact the details she desired. These varied skills served as the foundation for her research.
Her long-awaited epiphany came while she was driving along the infamous Highway 405 in Los Angeles. She suddenly realized that the strategically placed struts that supported a retaining wall along the interstate were the missing piece of the puzzle she was intent on solving, “lifting” the face, instead of “filling” the face. Thus, began the pioneering of the now patented, ArqueDerma® Artistic Restoration Lift® technique.
Today, her innovative technique is practiced by over 500 Licensed ArqueDerma Practitioners who change the lives of thousands of patients in North America and worldwide each year.
Leslie is passionate about instructing her educationists and licensees in her medical and artistic skills in the ArqueDerma trainings, held through her aesthetic training company, InjectAbility® Institute. She also has imparted her knowledge through her work as a faculty injection trainer for several companies, including Allergan®, Medicis® and Scientiae®, and as a consultant on multiple advisory boards for Allergan, Revance® therapeutics, ZO® Skin Health, and Endo Aesthetics. These venues offer her a unique window to the latest and most ground-breaking techniques in the world of injectables. These platforms not only benefit her trainers and licensees but affords their patients the most up-to-date technology and techniques available.
She is a member of International Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses (ISPAN), the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists (SPSSCS). In 2012 she became a contributing editor for the European medical journal, The Journal of Aesthetic Nursing. In 2020 she was given the esteemed honor by Allergan/AbbVie of serving as one of four practitioners nationwide who consult as experts in the area of complications helping practitioners all over the country with their patients.
These experiences combined with her astute artistic skills and ability to cultivate and energize her trainees makes Leslie a valuable industry resource for aesthetic medical practitioners worldwide.
